Ice Age at the Zoo

We got to take pictures with the animals from the ice age movies today… woohoo.  After being at Disney, Wesley has the routine down… he walks up, says his “Hi” and promptly turns around to look shyly smile for the cameras.  Once the hoopla dies down, he turns back around and has conversations, hi fives,…

Discovery Green

Wesley and I took an outing to the Discovery Green park today instead of Hermann.  Aunt Stephanie showed Wesley a “cute baby pose” this past week and Wesley was using it when I wanted to take his picture.  Take a look…

Art

Wesley got a lot of art supplies for Christmas and we set up our kitchen to be more of a studio for him… so this year is going to be about exploration of painting, clay, crayons, etc etc etc.

Blow Out the Candles

Soooooo… Wesley likes to blow out candles.  Really.  That, and, well… icing.  Check these videos out.  I didn’t get them in order, nor did I show you all of them; but, basically, he made me keep lighting the candle so he could blow it out.  Awesome.

Wesley’s First Race

Wesley ran his first race today… the Houston Turkey Trot.  It was one tenth of a mile.  Daddy ran with him and mommy and poppy watched!  How did he do?  He RAN through the start line, but every so many yards there was a Chick-fil-a cow posted to high five the kids.  Wesley made it…

On the Phone

Wesley obviously has his own language… we just don’t know what it is yet.  He loves to talk on the phone to grandma and gramps, nana and pap!

My New Hat

Wesley got a new hat today… as anyone who knows Wesley, he loves hats.  If you ever feel the urge to buy him anything as a unique gift, a hat is always appropriate.  He knows when he has a cool one on.  Check these pics out…

Shark Tank

Wesley loves to watch the sharks at the Houston Zoo.  I should have gotten a better shot of them, but check out the eggs right in front of him, there were little baby sharks swimming around in them that we could see.  Really cool.

Elephant Fork

Elephant fork!? You’ll just have to watch the video. Needless to say, Wesley will not be teaching Poppy how to eat properly unless he gains some serious table manners. I actually think the is rather awesome. What else could we use as a fork? Mr. Potato Head is next!

The Pumpkin Patch

We headed to the pumpkin patch with our friends Brandon and Stephanie.  Wesley got to pick out pumpkins.  I put a picture of Stephanie in here so you could see how poppy is progressing… along with a bonus video of them both briefly.
